Buddhist temple famous for its wooden stage over the Higashiyama hillside

Getting there from central Kyoto: in high season the bus gets stuck in traffic. From the Kawaramachi area, take the Keihan Line to Kiyomizu-Gojo Station and walk up the hill instead — saves at least 20 minutes.
